Believe me, Shanghai'S Traffic is just getting naughtier ...in average of 5000 per month,new vehicles are increasing but off course roads are almost the same...
the chances of getting late to the work and class is increasing.Have to re-estimate the time needed to reach the destination and don't wait for cab's during the rush hours , weekends and rainy days, walking might make u reach the destination earlier...than waiting for the cab's.

I lived in Wuxi for 4 years. I used to go to Shanghai almost every vacation (and many weekends too)as I had friends in Tongji University and Shanghai 1st Medical University.
Shanghai was crowded at that time too.

Dai, I am in Shanghai first medical University, now a medical college of fudan University ...:) who was your friend from here? Lots of things have changed after the merging with Fudan daxue.....but some buildings are still the same.:) Glad to hear that U have been to our Uni before...I recently went to Wuxi too:) Now its going through lots of constructions ...I loved the Taihu:)

Well, it was more than a decade ago. My friends there were Sunita Lekhak, Anupama Thapa, Nirmal Lamichhane, Shashinda Bhuju etc. I have lost contact with most of them now.
Wuxi was a small city compared to Shanghai. It was cleaner and peaceful too. Taihu was my favorite too. We used to cycle to Taihu in the summer nights.
